Disclosure is hereby made that Market Street is owned by Dana N. Whalen and her husband Jason Whalen. Dana N. Whalen is an attorney and solely owns Whalen Law Office, LLC. One or more of the attorneys for Whalen Law Office may work on the transaction which is the subject of the title insurance commitment, as well as on behalf of Market Street in connection with the issuance of the commitment and/or title insurance policy to the named insured(s). If you desire your own attorney to prepare documents or review the closing documents, Market Street Title will accommodate your written request.
Although Market Street Title LLC is owned by attorney Dana N. Whalen and operated in the same building as Whalen Law Office, LLC, the services rendered by Market Street Title, LLC does not constitute or create an attorney-client relationship between you and the attorneys at Whalen Law Office, LLC. Your communications with Market Street Title, LLC staff regarding your real estate transaction will not be treated as privileged or confidential. We do however, honor your privacy and will protect your personal information. You should know that legal fees charged by Whalen Law Office in connection with providing legal services, such as the title examination, preparation of deed or purchase agreement, will be disclosed to you before closing or upon your request. An attorney-client relationship exists for these services but not in connection with the issuance of title insurance. In the course of the transaction, if the attorney working on your transaction perceives a conflict of interest in providing legal services to one party or the other, the attorney will promptly notify the customer and either request the conflict be waived, withdraw from representation or request Market Street to withdraw as the closing agent.
